Personal update from Dr. Lawson

I am on a brief leave of absence from the Clinic. My wife and clinic office manager had acute liver failure in December 2012 and a transplant on January 18, 2013. Our dear daughter Megan donated to Susan what the surgeon called, “a perfect piece of liver”. They are both recovering in Edmonton where the transplant took place. We should be returning to Calgary later in February.

We have been receiving amazing support from family, friends and patients of the Clinic, many of whom have a personal as well as professional relationship with both Susan and me. I offer my heart-felt thanks and look forward to my return to the Clinic when we get back to Calgary.
