Miranda Lohues

Physiotherapy, Pelvic Floor, Functional Dry Needling, Exercise Therapy

Miranda is passionate about helping every patient reach their personal “mountain”—whether that means returning to a beloved sport, completing their first 5K, or simply moving through daily life with greater ease and confidence.

Originally from Southern Alberta, Miranda earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Lethbridge and went on to complete her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. She relocated to Calgary after graduating and has called it home ever since.

Miranda takes pride in developing personalized, collaborative treatment plans tailored to her patients’ goals. With a strong interest in pelvic health, she has completed Levels 1 and 2 Pelvic Health Solutions training and treats both male and female clients. She is also certified in dry needling, and integrates this technique alongside manual therapy and exercise prescription to support optimal recovery and long-term wellness.

Her approach is active and educational—empowering patients with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to recover effectively and prevent future injury. She works collaboratively with patients to ensure the treatment plan is achievable with your lifestyle and the focus is on the goals most important to you.

Miranda grew up playing every sport she could access, but her true loves were hockey and rugby. On weekends, you’ll likely find her exploring the mountains, cuddling with her cats, or expanding her ever-growing plant collection. If you have a favourite hiking trail, she’d love to hear your recommendations!
